Joseph P. Clancy

Retired Director, United States Secret Service
Vice President/Chief Security Officer, Comcast Corporation

Joseph P. Clancy retired in 2017 as the Director of the United States Secret Service and is currently the Vice President/Chief Security Officer at Comcast Corporation. A 27-year veteran of the Secret Service, Joe rose to the rank of Special Agent in Charge of the Presidential Protective Division before becoming the Director.

In addition to the Presidential Protective Division, prior roles also include Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge, Staff Assistant in the Office of Congressional Affairs and detail to the Commerce, Justice and State Senate Appropriations Subcommittees. Joe also served in the Secret Service Office of Inspection, the agency’s internal affairs division. Joe was selected to serve as a Staff Assistant in the Office of Homeland Security and served as the Director for National Special Security Events.

Joe attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and is a graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Criminal Justice. Prior to joining the Secret Service, Joe worked as a high school teacher and football and baseball coach.

Emerson is a graduate of the American Military University in Virginia with a B.A. in Security Management. Clint is the Founder and Managing Partner of Escape the Wolf, a company that focuses on workplace violence prevention and response, inspired terrorism identification, and crisis management for small to large global companies. During his many years of service, Clint has received numerous awards for bravery and leadership, including Bronze Stars. He holds specific expertise in Sea, Air Land Combat Operations, Terror and Counterterrorist Operations, Embassy Operations/Country Team Experience, Physical & Technical Surveillance & Counter Surveillance; Special Operations & Team Leading

Alice Training Institute

ALICE Training Institute
ALICE was the first training program in the country that provided staff and students with an option-based response to an active shooter gaining entry into a school. Work with National Trainers from the ALICE Training Institute in a training session discussing ALICE concepts and strategies and participate in group-participation demonstrations.
